People With Disabilities in Tech: How to Advocate for Yourself?

Have you ever felt like a square peg in a round hole? That’s what many people with disabilities feel in the tech industry. There are many different kinds of disabilities — from visual or hearing impairments to learning differences like autism spectrum disorder or dyslexia. If you have one or more disabilities, you know how challenging it can be to find the right career for you and to thrive once you’ve found it. It can be even trickier if your disability is not immediately obvious. That’s why I am writing this article— to give you a helping hand so that you can find the right opportunities and succeed at them once you do.
