A virtual world can be anything you want it to be. It can be a place for educational experiences, for shopping, for dating or even for creating your own content. A virtual world has the potential to become just about anything because of artificial intelligence and the metaverse. The metaverse is essentially a virtual world where users can interact with each other. It’s a space that is virtual and parallel to our physical reality so it’s also called the digital universe or cyberspace. The metaverse is an important part of the emerging field of VR technology known as the extended virtual reality (XVR) ecosystem. In this article, we’ll explore what exactly the metaverse is and how artificial intelligence is shaping it going forward.
