Data management is a hot topic in the industry. Everyone wants to know what the best data management solution is for their business, and most importantly — which one makes the most sense for you, your company and your specific needs. Newer terms like data warehouse, data lake and even ‘mesh’ keep popping up more frequently. All these different phrases refer to essentially the same thing: techniques and technologies used to store data efficiently, analyse it effectively and put it to good use. But they all mean something slightly different. Let’s take a look at some of these terms in more detail below…
